Here it is November 17th 2016. Our first official “snow’ of the season has fallen today and oddly enough I feel like the ice has finally melted. It seems that I have had one of the longest bouts of writer’s block that I can ever remember. The block is broken!
As many of you know I went back to work selling real estate. I have been back at it going on 2 years now. It has been a wonderful ride. There is so much emotion involved on all sides of selling residential real estate.
Combining my clairvoyant gifts with this career may seem very odd to many, yet I believe it has made me that much better of a Realtor. The challenge for me is being able to separate myself and what I “know” with what I am hearing.
Knowing what is mine and what is my clients, and remembering that it is not my house (whether we are buying or selling). I tend to immerse myself into my clients transactions, as Realtors do…however, when you’re dealing with an Intuitive Realtor there is a much stronger sense of what is not being said and an understanding of what is going on around you.
I have had to really work on remembering to keep my personal boundaries. Being a clairvoyant and empath can be very draining. Being around people in general takes energy. It takes focus and energy to not take on the emotions of the people around you. I love what I do, where I live and the wonderful people I get to meet and engage with. This has been such an amazing integration that I felt the need to just break my blog silence and step into the next phase of this journey. My goal this coming year is to work on incorporating my business and spiritual passions! I aim to inspire, encourage and help more people than ever before. Whether you’re thinking about buying or selling a home, wanting to understand the energy around you, or just connect with a like-minded individual, I am here! Let’s join together and raise the collective vibration to that of respect, love and understanding… If we have that the rest will come along nicely!
What is an empath you may be wondering? Here is a brief analogy to help you understand a little of what it may be like to be empathic.
Do you remember the age-old question: “If you could have a superpower what would it be?”
Most people answer one of the following:
1) I would be able to fly
2) I would be invisible
3) I could read people’s minds or hear their thoughts
You know what I am talking about right? Well, being an empath is like #3 except instead of hearing thoughts you feel their emotions. Imagine being in a room full of strangers and feeling all their emotions at once. OVERWHELMING right? Absolutely. That is why having boundaries and understanding what is yours and what is not, is key!
The block is broken! SO what that means is more thoughts and insights from the mind of Your Intuitive Realtor, Jackie Mihalchick! Till next time,
Namaste~
